Exit 15 off of I-95 (from either direction)

Take the Route 7 connector to the end and turn right at the light

At the bottom of the hill (DMV) make a right onto Route 7 / Main St.

About 1/3 mile on the left you'll see the PAWS sign/driveway just past Sleep Etc

Make a left into our driveway and go up around the back to the main entrance.

Hours of Operation
Adoption Counselors are available to meet with applicants on:

Thursday evenings from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm.

Saturdays from 12 Noon to 4 pm. On Saturdays, no appointment is necessary but there may be a wait.

During the week by appointment.

Adoption Applications are available online, or you may stop by the shelter, Monday thru Friday, between the hours of 11 am and 8 pm to complete an Application and learn more about our adoption process.

Please note that animals can only interact with adoption applicants who have completed an application and met with an adoption counselor.

For the comfort and well-being of our dogs, only staff and volunteers may enter our kennel area.

The Adoption Process
Finding the right pet for your home and the right home for every pet is a challenging goal. The application process and meeting potential pets is time-consuming; please be prepared to spend at least an hour at the shelter.

Saturdays are very busy, so we encourage you to come during the week if at all possible. Please understand that we try to provide the best possible adoption experience with limited staffing and volunteer help.
