PAWS Joins "Pets for Patriots" Program
PAWS is proud to announce that we have been accepted as a partner shelter in the Pets for Patriots Program! This program was created to transform the lives of our veterans by helping them save an at-risk shelter dog or cat. With your support, Pets for Patriots is working to end animal homelessness in the U.S. and enrich the lives of the men and women who serve, and have served our country. Pets for Patriots' mission is to consistently give the gifts of fidelity, joy and companionship to both pet and person through honorable companion pet adoption.
Pets for Patriots seeks to achieve their mission by dedicating themselves to increasing the adoption of the most at-risk shelter pets and, in so doing, demonstrating our gratitude to members of the military community. Everything they do will support opportunities for our member Patriots to adopt an adult dog or cat, large dog or special needs dog or cat - those most in need of a loving, forever home - and give them the resources to assure a lifetime of whiskers and wet noses.Eligible military members receive additional benefits such as discounted veterinary services at a partner vet, discounts on pet items, gift cards to pet supply stores, "day one essentials", pet training help or reduced adoption fees.
